Tshukudu Bush Lodge
Pilanesberg Accommodation / North West Province Accommodation

Set in the Pilanesburg National Park, the Tshukudu Bush Lodge is a modern wooden building in keeping with its surroundings, with views across the plains and waterhole below. The lodge's six luxury cottages have separate lounge areas with open fires, which open onto balconies with views of the plains and wildlife. They have African decor with colourful paintings and wall hangings; the bathrooms have dark wooden decking and sunken baths which also overlook the plains. Amenities include ceiling fans, minibars, safety deposit boxes and hair dryers.

The Tshukudu Bush Lodge runs morning and afternoon game drives and walks with their experienced field guides. Both give guests a chance to see the wide range of animals found in the national park, such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and hippos; special interest trails can also be arranged. While not out in the bush, guests can relax in the outdoor rock pool, or take a drink on the hotel's balconies and decks, overlooking the plains with opportunities to spot the wildlife. The Tshukudu Lodge leaves roads and traffic behind; secure parking is provided at the nearby Bakubung Lodge with a complimentary transfer from there. A laundry and dry cleaning service is available, and there is wireless Internet so guests can email home. The lodge's restaurant offers cuisine with a strong African influence; the dining room features a large open fire and opens onto views of the park. Pilanesburg International Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel.
